The qualifying round of the "Ýaňlan, Diýarym!-2026" competition took place in western Turkmenistan

The regional round of the television competition for young singers "Ýaňlan, Diýarym!" ("Sound, My Homeland!") took place in the Balkan velayat of Turkmenistan, according to "Turkmenistan: Golden Age." The event took place in the region's administrative center, Balkanabat, on a festively decorated square in front of the "Türkmeniň ak öýi" building. An atmosphere of joy and merriment reigned.

This talent show is being held within the framework of the Türkmeniň Altyn asyry (Golden Age of the Turkmen) competition in the lead-up to Turkmenistan's Independence Day. The competition promotes the development of national culture and art and the identification of talented young people.

In their performances, the young contestants celebrated their homeland, the country's remarkable achievements, friendship, peace, and brotherhood. The audience greeted each performance with loud applause.

Following the results of the competition, the winners received the right to participate in the state round of the "Ýaňlan, Diýarym! – 2026" competition: Bayrammyrat Yakubov, an amateur singer from the cultural center of the Etrek etrap, and Amanmyrat Maydyev, a resident of the village of Guvlymayak in the Turkmenbashy etrap.

The winners were ceremoniously presented with bouquets of flowers and valuable gifts, the source notes.
