World Ranger Day was celebrated in the Turkmen capital.

The event took place on August 6 in the assembly hall of the Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan.

Experienced inspectors from each state reserve and regional environmental protection departments were invited to participate in the meeting.

During the meeting, participants shared their experiences in nature conservation. Results of biodiversity conservation efforts using camera traps and other modern approaches were also presented, according to the website of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan.

At the end of the event, the most outstanding inspectors were awarded valuable gifts and certificates.

The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan and Conservation X Labs.
