Turkmen mixed martial artist Dovletjan Yagshimuradov fought a stare-down against Briton Simeon Powell ahead of his upcoming bout in the Professional Fighters League (PFL) tournament.

The light heavyweight bout will take place on August 7 in Charlotte, North Carolina, at Bojangles Coliseum. The bout is included in the main card of the PFL Charlotte tournament.

This fight was previously scheduled for New York, but was postponed due to a decision by the local athletic commission, which prevented Powell from competing due to previous surgery. The opponents have retained their matchup and will meet a week after the original date.

Yagshimuradov has a record of 26 wins, 8 losses, and 1 draw, while Powell has 12 wins and 2 losses. The main card is scheduled to air on ESPN.

Mixed martial arts fans and Dovletjan Yagshimuradov's supporters in Turkmenistan will be able to watch the fight live on the Belet platform. Ashgabat time, the fight will take place at approximately 8:30 on August 8.
