On July 27, a meeting between the Turkmen delegation and WTO Deputy Director-General Zhang Xiangchen took place at the World Trade Organization (WTO) headquarters in Geneva. Maika Oshikawa, Director of the WTO Accessions Division, also participated in the meeting.

During the talks, the parties discussed the current state of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the World Trade Organization, as well as prospects for further collaboration within the framework of the country's accession process. Particular attention was paid to the preparation of a Memorandum on Turkmenistan's Foreign Trade Regime, as well as other organizational matters.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further developing cooperation.
