Students from Turkmenistan took part in the international summer camp "Youth Development for a Shared Future 2026", which was held in Beijing from July 19 to 25.

Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan M. Gaipova also took part in the opening ceremony of the camp on July 20, according to the website iirmfa.edu.tm.

The week-long program, organized by the Soong Ching Ling Foundation of China, brought together more than 80 young people from 16 countries participating in the “One Belt and One Road” Initiative, including the Philippines, Pakistan, Gambia, Armenia, Spain, Slovenia, Ghana, Thailand, Oman, Russia, Libya, Montenegro, Slovakia, Mongolia, and Malaysia.

Participants of the youth camp gained an understanding of the history and modern development of the Silk Road, as well as the economic and social situation in China.
