The Turkmen-Uzbek business forum opened in the conference hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan on July 27.

Azat Nazarov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, addressed the forum participants with a welcoming speech. Ravshanbek Alimov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan, also spoke at the opening.

The forum program includes a session dedicated to the prospects for cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan in the construction and industrial sectors. Representatives from relevant ministries and agencies of Turkmenistan, as well as Uzbek companies operating in the production of construction materials and industrial equipment, are expected to speak.

Following the general and sectoral sessions, the forum's program includes bilateral meetings between representatives of relevant ministries and agencies of Turkmenistan and the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as meetings between representatives of the private sectors of the two countries.
