Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular Cabinet meeting via videoconference, during which a number of state matters were discussed, according to the Vatan news program.
The first speaker at the meeting was the Chairperson of the Mejlis, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, who reported on the work to improve national legislation. According to her, draft laws are being prepared aimed at protecting human rights and freedoms, the legitimate interests of citizens, as well as state registration of property rights and legal support for the country's accession to international instruments. Furthermore, amendments and additions to a number of existing legislative acts are being prepared.
The head of state emphasized the importance of continuing work to strengthen the country's legal framework and improve legislation.
Next, the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers delivered reports, informing about the work in the areas they supervise, its results, and measures for the further development of the relevant sectors of the national economy. The deputy prime ministers reported on the implementation of previously issued instructions, on activities in the spheres of culture and humanitarian ties, foreign policy, and other areas, and also presented a number of proposals for the president's consideration.
After hearing the reports, Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave the relevant leaders specific instructions and directions regarding work in various complexes and sectors of the national economy, tasks for their further development, and issues of international cooperation.
During the meeting, other important issues of state life were also considered, on which appropriate decisions were made.
