The President of Turkmenistan congratulated the participants of Culture Week in the Balkan velayat

Today, Turkmenistan's National Culture Week kicks off in the Balkan velayat. On this occasion, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent congratulations to the Week's participants and all his compatriots, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

The country is implementing comprehensive measures to develop the musical, visual, decorative, applied, theatrical, and film arts. At the same time, the ongoing work includes modernizing the media, museums and libraries, cultural institutions, and specialized educational institutions, the message notes. A vibrant cultural program is a feature of celebrations marking holidays and significant dates on the national calendar, as well as the opening ceremonies of new social developments: inspired performances by cultural figures and artists add a special touch to the events.

"Culture Week, which has become a tradition, is of great importance in the development of national culture, art, and literature. We are confident that the current cultural event in the Balkan velayat will allow us to fully explore the facets of Turkmen culture. We are proud and delighted that poets, writers, bagshy musicians, actors, and artists are coming to this arts festival with their new creative gifts,” the President emphasized.

Among the main tasks today is identifying the most gifted young people and encouraging them to engage in culture, art, and literature.

The Balkan land has produced many famous singers, musicians, writers and other outstanding creative figures who have made a significant contribution to the development of Turkmen literature and art. Among them are Garadeli Göklen, Bayram Shahir, Sary Garryev, Soyun Amangeldiev, Annagul Annagulyeva, Tachbibi Gafurova, Chary Amangeldiev, Pykhy Taganov, Yylgai Durdyev, Anna Kovusov, Sailav Myradov, Anna Gurtgeldiev, Gurbandurdy Geldiev, Nurberdi Gulov, Gichgeldi Amanov, Soltan Atanepesov, Ashyrmammet Davudov, Molla Chakliev, Saryhan Sapaev, Dovletgeldi Okdirov, Oraznepes Dovletnazarov, Ashyr Gurbanov, Gurbanmammet Garajaev, Akmammet Nurmammedov, Geldimammet Orazgulyev, Bayramdurdy Garayev, Bayramguly Ayjanov, Japar Hojanepesov and Oraz Begnyazov. Their rich creative legacy serves as a model school for the current generation.
