IFT 2026: The Private Sector as the Engine of the Future

Entrepreneurship in Turkmenistan continues to demonstrate steady and sustainable growth. The private sector is expanding its presence across key sectors of the economy, ranging from agriculture and consumer goods manufacturing to construction, services and high technology.

State support measures, including preferential lending, tax incentives and the creation of a favourable investment climate, provide a solid foundation for the growth of small and medium sized enterprises, strengthening the competitiveness of national producers and developing export potential.

IFT 2026 as an International Investment Platform

On 18 March, Ashgabat will host the international investment forum IFT 2026, bringing together representatives of business, investors and financial institutions to discuss priorities for private sector development and to expand investment cooperation. The event will take place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

The forum is organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan in partnership with TMT Consulting Group.

A Practical Platform for Business and Investors

IFT 2026 is designed as a practice-oriented business platform where investment initiatives are translated into concrete projects, partnerships and agreements. The forum focuses on building direct business links and launching real investment processes.

Participant registration is ongoing, enabling companies in advance to confirm their participation and areas of interest, present investment proposals, schedule negotiations and organise individual meeting agendas. This format enhances the practical value of participation and supports the achievement of measurable business outcomes.

Key Thematic Areas of IFT 2026

The forum programme covers priority areas of economic and private sector development, including private sector growth, public private partnership, agrarian and food security, investment in infrastructure, construction, transport, logistics and industry, as well as digital transformation of the economy.

Particular attention will be given to investment opportunities in industrial production, agribusiness, logistics, digital solutions and innovative projects.

Outcomes of IFT 2025

IFT 2026 builds on the tradition established by the forum first held in 2025. The results of IFT 2025 confirmed strong international interest in the investment potential of Turkmenistan, with more than 500 delegates from 25 countries, participation by over 400 companies, the signing of 21 memoranda of cooperation and the organisation of 187 business meetings in B2B and B2G formats.

International Cooperation and Practical Outcomes

Forum participants will be offered direct negotiations with investors and potential partners, presentations of investment projects and start-ups, business meetings and professional consultations, as well as opportunities to enter international markets and launch joint initiatives.

IFT 2026 will also serve as a convenient platform for Turkmen entrepreneurs to invite their international partners and conduct negotiations in a professionally organised business environment.

Synergy with the Private Sector Exhibition

The forum will be held in parallel with the exhibition of achievements of Turkmen private businesses, dedicated to the 18th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. The exhibition will take place from 17 to 19 March 2026. The combination of the forum and the exhibition enables business dialogue to be combined with the presentation of real projects.

Invitation to Participate

IFT 2026 is a platform where ideas, investments and partnerships come together. Participation in the forum opens up opportunities for business development, the expansion of international contacts and the attraction of investment into real projects.

Registration is ongoing. Places are limited.
