The international exhibition and fair Turkmen Textile Expo 2026 welcomes its first visitors, reports a Turkmenportal correspondent.

This year, the exhibition will be held from June 4 to 6 in Ashgabat.

The official opening ceremony will begin at 10:00, followed by a tour of the exhibition stands.

The first day will feature an international fashion show featuring designers from Turkmenistan, France, Morocco, Oman, Uzbekistan, and Russia. Participants include Fashion Channel owner Marzio Nocera and Vivienne Westwood CEO Carlo Damario.

On Friday, June 5, the second international fashion show will take place, along with a business program – a series of thematic sessions on sustainable cotton production and textile certification. Specifically, presentations are expected on Better Cotton and Fairtrade standards, supply chain requirements, and the experiences of Central Asian countries in preparing for certification.

On Saturday, June 6, the final seminars will be held, as well as a special visiting program for foreign exhibitors with visits to leading textile enterprises in Ashgabat.
