Today Turkmenistan celebrates Science Day. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to the scientific community of Turkmenistan, as well as to the participants of the international scientific conference "Science, Technology and Innovative Technologies in the Era of the Revival of a New Era of a Powerful State", which began work in Ashgabat.
In particular, the Appeal states:
“I sincerely congratulate you on this wonderful holiday – Science Day, solemnly celebrated in the International Year of Peace and Trust, as well as on the beginning of the international scientific conference “Science, Technology and Innovative Technologies in the Era of the Renaissance of a New Era of a Powerful State”! All our achievements are inextricably linked with science, and therefore, I am confident that the international scientific conference timed to coincide with Science Day will provide scientists with an excellent opportunity to exchange advanced developments in the field of science and technology.”
Along with the diversification, digitalization and industrialization of the national economy based on innovation, the state provides systematic support, in particular financial and logistical. Its goal is to promote the acquisition of new knowledge and best practices in the field of innovation and technological sciences, the introduction of new scientific developments and solutions into the economy, and the expansion of targeted international partnerships.
"Today, the interest of the world community in our democratic, legal and secular state, developing at a dynamic pace, is steadily growing. And at this time, we attach great importance to the accelerated development of the scientific system as an integral part of the national economy, as well as the activation of scientific and technological development," the President emphasized.
Expansion of international partnership in the sphere of science and technology is one of the main indicators of the level of scientific and technical development of the country. Thus, through the conclusion of contracts and agreements with large specialized international organizations, foundations, associations, foreign scientific centers, cooperation on fundamental and scientific-applied issues, so important for the country in the context of science and technology, is consistently strengthened.
“Thanks to this, scientific and technical cooperation with leading scientific and educational centers of the countries of the Far East, the Asia-Pacific region, the Middle and Near East, Europe and America, as well as with international and regional organizations, is reaching a new level,” the President concluded, wishing the scientific community good health, a prosperous and happy life, and great success in scientific and creative work in the name of global development and in the interests of all humanity, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
