As of January 1 of this year, 2131 ATMs were registered in the banking system of Turkmenistan.
As reported in the Biznes reklama newspaper, 447 of them serve the population in Ashgabat, 11 in Arkadag and 246 in Ahal velayat. Also, 274 ATMs are in Balkan velayat, 279 in Dashoguz velayat, 432 in Lebap velayat and 442 in Mary velayat.
The largest number of ATMs in Turkmenistan belongs to the State Commercial Bank "Dayhanbank". The bank has installed 1022 ATMs in the velayats.
During 2024, cash withdrawals in the amount of 25 332 491 440,00 manats were made through ATMs in Turkmenistan, the source notes.
