On 8 May 2024, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Malaysia M. Mashalov met with the President of the Sunway University, Malaysia Professor Sibrandes Poppema.
During the meeting the parties discussed issues of strengthening bilateral co-operation in the sphere of education, science and culture, as well as expansion of ties and exchange of experience between educational institutions of the two countries.
The President expressed his readiness to continue cooperation and emphasised that holding joint events will contribute to strengthening friendship and cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries and peoples.
