From June 29 to July 20, a group of students from the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas are undergoing educational and industrial practice at the China University of Petroleum in Beijing.
According to a specially prepared program, Turkmen students are introduced to the Chinese university, its laboratories, educational centers and museums, according to the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
During the internship, they will visit the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and its production facilities, the China Museum of Geology, the China Science and Technology Museum and the Great Wall of China.
Students will also take short-term courses on "Basic Chinese Language", "Chinese Culture", "Green Energy, Reducing Carbon Emissions", "The Future of Oil and Gas" and "The Future of Energy Cooperation on the Silk Road".
The internship is carried out within the framework of the Memorandums of Understanding on cooperation signed in 2023 between the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas, the China National Petroleum Corporation and the China University of Petroleum.
