On the morning of March 23, 2026, a ceremonial flag raising ceremony was held on the premises of the Pakistani Embassy in Turkmenistan to mark Pakistan Day.

The event was attended by representatives of the Pakistani diaspora, Turkmen entrepreneurs, and embassy staff and officials.

The ceremony opened with a recitation of the Holy Quran. Pakistan's Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Dr. Faryal Leghari, personally raised the country's national flag to the sounds of the national anthem. During the event, the ambassador also read messages from the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan.
