Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with the United States Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Elizabeth Rood. During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation of mutual interest, according to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Particular attention was paid to the results of the visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the United States in February of this year, the department noted.
