International scientific and practical conferences and internet Olympiads are planned for April at Turkmenistan's higher education institutions. Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Mammedov announced this at a government meeting, according to the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports will host an online international scientific and practical conference, "Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan – a Land of International Cooperation and Health," dedicated to World Health Day.

The Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management will host the IV Open International Internet Olympiad in Macroeconomics, as well as the III International Scientific and Practical Conference, Modern Trends in Financial Market Development, in a digital format.

The 5th International Internet Olympiad in English, as well as the international scientific and practical conferences "Scientific Research of the Young" and "Global and National Experience in Teaching Foreign Languages: Scientific Research and New Approaches," are planned at the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages.

The international scientific and practical conference "Modern Scientific Research in the Study of Historical and Cultural Heritage: Sustainable Development of Peoples and Cultures" will be held online at Magtymguly Turkmen State University.

The 4th Open International Internet Olympiad in Informatics will be held at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas.

The Myrat Garryev Turkmen State Medical University will host an international scientific and practical conference, "Current Issues in Modern Ophthalmology," in a hybrid format.

The Turkmen Agricultural University will host the II International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rational Use of Natural Resources in Agriculture" online.

Students, faculty, and scientists from across the country, as well as representatives from leading international universities, are expected to participate.

Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the events and addressed a number of instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister, emphasizing the importance of developing international cooperation in education and identifying talented youth.
