International Master of Sports in Combat Sambo, Turkmen fighter Abdullah Babayev, will face undefeated Tajik fighter Faiz Gulonov on November 28 as part of the Sokol League tournament in Moscow.
The bout will take place at the “Luzhniki” International Boxing Center within the framework of the third tournament of the Sokol League, headed by Vitaly Minakov. The fight will be broadcast live on the “Match Fighter!” TV channel.
Babayev is a three-time World Cup winner and a world and Asian champion in pankration. In mixed martial arts, he has won four consecutive matches.
His opponent, 20-year-old Faiz Gulonov from Tajikistan, has four fights without a loss. "I'm fired up and planning to win and move on, nothing personal," Gulonov said before the fight.
