A representative of the Turkmenistan Kyokushinkai karate team went to the Japanese city of Maebashi to participate in the World Championship (The World Weight Kyokushin Karate Tournament - Japan 2025).
The competition will be held from November 26 to December 1, 2025.
The Kyokushin Karate World Championship is held every four years and brings together the strongest athletes from around the world.
Turkmenistan will be represented at the tournament by Meylis Pashakuliyev, who will compete in the over 85 kg weight class. His resume includes two Ukrainian championships, the Ukrainian Cup, three Turkmenistan championship titles, victories in international tournaments, the Central Asian Cup, and a podium finish at the European Cup.
