An exhibition showcasing Turkmenistan's economic achievements has opened in Ashgabat, timed to coincide with the 35th anniversary of the country's independence.

Enterprises from the fuel and energy complex, electric power industry, textile industry, construction sector, agro-industrial complex, and other economic sectors showcased their products, services, and cooperation potential at the exhibition.

Among the exhibits on display is a model of the railway station currently under construction in the city of Arkadag, designed in a futuristic style.

The “Arkadag” football club also set up a stand, displaying a collection of trophies won by the team in various tournaments.

Crowds gathered at the stands representing the trade complex and the country's regions, which showcased a variety of food products—including meat, dairy, and confectionery items, fresh fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, and honey. Among the exhibits was a ceremonial loaf inscribed "Türkmenistan," baked in honor of the holiday, alongside a wide assortment of traditional baked goods. The Hasar company presented its products - chocolate, sweets and confectionery sets; canned meat products (stew, goulash, soups with meat) - Turkmen producers of the meat processing industry. Pickles, jams and canned vegetables of Turkmen production were displayed at separate stands.

Exhibition visitors could purchase the products they liked directly at the stands.

A separate exhibition area was dedicated to the textile industry: the Ashgabat Textile Complex showcased gift sets marking the 35th anniversary of independence, featuring towels and textile products bearing national symbols and presented in branded packaging.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the exhibition participants on the event's opening. According to the head of state, the exhibition is of great importance for showcasing the country's growth dynamics across all sectors. Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan is currently a rapidly developing state driven by high technologies and innovations.

The head of Turkmenistan emphasized that, over the years of independence, a solid economic foundation has been established in the country, serving as a guarantee for further development.
