The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan, A. Movlamov, attended a celebratory event held on September 9 at the National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage (Lok Virsa) in Islamabad, marking the independence days of the Central Asian states and Azerbaijan.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, during the event, the heads of diplomatic missions from Central Asian countries, Azerbaijan, and the Russian Federation congratulated the attendees on their national holidays. In their speeches, they highlighted the importance of cultural diplomacy and humanitarian cooperation in strengthening friendship, mutual respect, and mutual understanding among peoples.
A special place in the concert program was held by performances from Pakistani artists, who presented traditional dances and musical compositions while wearing the national costumes of the peoples of Central Asia and Azerbaijan. The performances included the traditional Turkmen dance "Kushtdepdi," which reflects the richness and distinctiveness of Turkmenistan's national cultural heritage.

The event was organized by the Eurasian Peoples' Friendship Forum jointly with the embassies of Central Asian countries, with the assistance of the National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage of Pakistan.
