A delegation including representatives of Turkmenistan's leading media outlets is participating in the international media forum "Islamic Civilization: New Views, New Discoveries," which is taking place from August 24 to 29 in Tashkent and Samarkand.

The forum's opening ceremony took place at the Center for Islamic Civilization in Tashkent, reports “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

The plenary session of the forum featured a detailed discussion of contemporary documentary filmmaking. Drawing on scientifically validated materials, participants shared their experiences and identified key areas for creating high-quality historical documentary content.

The scientific study of historical data, the challenges of publishing, and the potential for implementing modern digital technologies were also discussed. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of joint projects of international significance in the media sphere.

Following the plenary session, participants discussed areas for implementing joint projects in the media sphere.

The program also includes creative meetings and master classes for students studying journalism in Uzbekistan. The forum will then continue in Samarkand.
