The Turkmen digital reading service elkitap took part in the international exhibition and fair Kids Expo 2026 "Everything for Children," which was held in Ashgabat from August 19 to 22.

According to the developers, elkitap ranks first in the “Books” category in the App Store and Google Play, and the service's audience has reached 12 500 users and continues to grow.

At the exhibition, the elkitap team presented one of the app's latest updates: the eCoins system, which adds gamification elements to the reading experience. For every page read, users earn eCoins, can track their progress, and compete for a spot on the most active reader rankings.

According to the project team, the goal of the innovation is to make reading a modern habit and create a digital environment that motivates users to read more. According to the developers, eCoins is just one step in this direction, and the service expects a number of new updates in the future.
