The Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan has released its weather forecast for the current week. According to the agency, the country will experience hot weather with brief showers.

Ashgabat is expected to see partly cloudy skies, with variable cloud cover and occasional light rain in the second half of the week. Northwest to southeast winds will gust at 10–13 m/s, with gusts reaching 14–16 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from 24 to 30 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs reaching 37 to 42 degrees Celsius.

In the Balkan velayat, the weather will be partly cloudy with showers, and winds will increase to 12–17 m/s. Overnight highs are expected to reach 21–30°C, daytime highs of 36–41°C, and coastal areas will see highs of 33–38°C.

In the Ahal velayat, precipitation is also expected, with variable cloud cover and winds up to 12–17 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from 22 to 31 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs reaching 35 to 43 degrees Celsius.

In the Mary velayat, the weather will be partly cloudy, no precipitation, with winds up to 11–16 m/s. Overnight temperatures will be between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will be between 35 and 43 degrees Celsius.

In the Lebap velayat, partly cloudy skies are expected, with winds up to 12-17 m/s. Overnight temperatures will reach 22-31 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs reaching 34-43 degrees Celsius.

In the Dashoguz velayat, partly cloudy skies are expected, with winds up to 11-16 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from 20-29 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs reaching 33-42 degrees Celsius.
