Turkmenistan has approved the "State Program for the Promotion of Scientific, Technical, and Technological Achievements for 2026–2030," along with an action plan for its implementation. The corresponding resolution was signed at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting on June 12. Responsibility for implementing the program's activities has been assigned to the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and relevant ministries and agencies.

As reported by the newspaper "Türkmenistan," citing an interview in its today's issue, the program plans to produce materials on the impact of artificial intelligence on the development of science, education, and technology, as well as conduct television and radio programs and online classes on this topic.

The program's implementation includes the development of scientific language and science journalism as a separate discipline. Specifically, it is planned to develop a curriculum for the discipline "Science Journalism" and include it in the journalism training curriculum.

The program also includes television and radio talks with scientists about the achievements of global and domestic science. Regular professional development is provided for media professionals and those involved in science popularization in general, vocational, secondary, and higher education institutions, as well as in scientific organizations.

In addition, plans are underway to prepare articles and research papers for publication in all areas of science, dedicated to the study and implementation of the latest global achievements in scientific circulation, as well as to improve the quality of publications in scientific journals.
