“Real” Madrid announced the transfer of Ivorian striker Yann Diomande from German side “Leipzig”. The Spanish club's official website reported this.

According to a published statement, “Real Madrid” and RB Leipzig have reached an agreement on the transfer of the player, who will play for the Madrid club for seven seasons – the contract runs until June 30, 2033.

The club's official website does not disclose the deal's value. According to Spanish and German media, including reports from journalists Florian Plettenberg (Sky) and Fabrizio Romano, the base transfer fee is approximately 125 million euros, with bonuses of up to 15 million euros possible depending on the fulfillment of certain conditions. Taking all variables into account, the deal could reach approximately 140 million euros.

19-year-old Diomande, a product of the Spanish club Leganés, sold him to Leipzig in 2025; under the terms of the agreement at the time, the Spanish club will receive approximately 5% of the current transfer fee. Diomande played 33 matches for Leipzig last Bundesliga season, scoring 12 goals and providing nine assists. He also played for the Ivory Coast national team at the 2026 World Cup.

This is “Real’s” fifth addition to their squad during the summer transfer window, having previously announced the signings of Marc Cucurella, Ibrahima Konate, Bernardo Silva and Denzel Dumfries.
