“Real”has extended the contract of Brazilian striker Vinicius Junior. This was announced on the Spanish club's official website.

The 26-year-old forward's new contract runs until 2032.

Earlier media reports indicated that Vinicius had demanded an 80 million euros bonus from “Real” for the contract extension, as well as an increase in the club's share of image rights from 50% to 80%.

At the end of July, reports emerged of interest from London's “Arsenal” in the player. It was reported that the English club had reached an agreement in principle with Vinicius on the terms of his personal contract and had submitted a 135 million euros transfer offer to “Real”.

Vinicius has been playing for the Madrid club since the summer of 2018; his previous contract was set to expire in the summer of 2027. With Los Blancos, he won three Spanish championships and two Champions League titles. In 2024, he was named FIFA's Player of the Year.
