The new Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Tajikistan, Mohammed Rashid Al-Amiri, paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Dushanbe.

During a conversation with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan, A. Gochmyradov, it was noted that Turkmen-Kuwaiti relations are consistently strengthening thanks to the personal attention and support of the leaders of the two states.

The Ambassador of the State of Kuwait expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for the assistance provided in organizing the safe transit of Kuwaiti citizens through the territory of Turkmenistan in connection with the current situation in the Middle East.

It was particularly emphasized that the recent opening of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Dushanbe creates additional opportunities for further expansion of bilateral cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, and cultural spheres.

The diplomats exchanged views on current issues on the regional and international agendas, confirming their mutual interest in continuing constructive dialogue and further strengthening bilateral cooperation, according to the Turkmen diplomatic mission's website.
