The ACA will hold a tournament in Dushanbe for the first time since 2015

At the end of October 2026, Dushanbe will host the Absolute Championship Akhmat (ACA) tournament. This will be the organization’s first event in Tajikistan in over ten years — the league’s previous tournament in the country took place in 2015.

The decision to hold the tournament followed an official visit by ACA representatives to Dushanbe and a final round of talks with the republic’s sports authorities.

The league’s chairman, Magomed Bibulatov, noted that the visit and talks with the country’s sports authorities had enabled the move from the idea of the tournament to its practical implementation. According to him, hosting the tournament in Tajikistan was a response to the long-standing requests of local supporters, who are considered to be among the most loyal fans of the league’s competitions.

The return of the ACA to Dushanbe will be one of the league’s key international events this autumn. The exact date of the tournament, the venue and the list of participants will be announced at a later date.

Turkmen athletes already have experience competing in the ACA: Dovletjan Yagshimuradov, a native of Turkmenistan, became the undisputed league champion in the light-heavyweight division (up to 93 kg), successfully defending his title twice, and was the first representative of Turkmenistan to win a championship belt in Russian MMA organisations. The fighter currently competes in the PFL’s light-heavyweight division.
