Turkmenistan and Georgia signed 20 cooperation documents

Following talks in Tbilisi, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze signed a package of 20 documents and issued a joint statement, according to the Turkmenistan newspaper.

Among the documents signed and handed over during the visit:

Cooperation program between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Georgia for 2027–2028.

Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Prosecutor General's Office of Turkmenistan and the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia.

Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Healthcare between the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia.

Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Education between the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.

Memorandum of Understanding on Cultural Cooperation between the Ministries of Culture of Turkmenistan and Georgia.

Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Exchange of Financial Information Related to Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and the Financing of the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction between the Financial Monitoring Service under the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan and the Financial Monitoring Service of Georgia.

Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Sphere of Management and Privatization of State Property between the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.

Memorandum of Understanding on the further development of cooperation in the industrial sector between the Ministry of Industry and Construction of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.

Memorandum on further strengthening of cooperation between the Ministry of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan and the Georgian Railways Joint Stock Company.

Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Training of Specialists and Maritime Education between the State Service of Maritime and River Transport of Turkmenistan and the Batumi State Maritime Academy, a public law legal entity.

Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Main Academic Drama Theatre named after Magtymguly Turkmenbashy and the Shota Rustaveli National Theatre.
