A Turkmen delegation led by the Deputy Chairman of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan participated in the second meeting of senior officials of the Global Alliance against Migrant Smuggling, held on July 1 in Vienna, Republic of Austria.

The conference agenda covered a wide range of important issues in the migration sphere, and matters regarding cooperation on migration management at both regional and global levels were discussed. Participants also exchanged views on managing safe, orderly, and legal migration. This was reported on the website of the Migration Service of Turkmenistan.

Following the meeting, the participants reviewed the draft 2026–2028 Work Plan of the Global Alliance, aimed at deepening multilateral cooperation.
