The Training Center of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, together with the Customs Institute of the Customs Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, conducted training as part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries.

According to the website of the Customs Service of Turkmenistan, the purpose of the training was to strengthen regional security, improve the legal framework for cross-border trade, and develop export control systems in accordance with international standards.

Particular attention was paid to modern methods of identifying suspicious cargo and preventing illegal trade at customs checkpoints.

The training included presentations of new technologies and digital solutions, as well as an exchange of practical experience.
