On June 10, People's Artist of Turkmenistan Annagul Gurdova celebrated her 75th birthday. Moreover, the artist also celebrated 70 years of performing, reports ussatnews.com.

The People's Artist was born in Ashgabat and began singing at the age of three, soon appearing on radio programs and children's programmes. During her school years, she actively developed her vocal skills.

Having earned a law degree and worked in the profession, Annagul always remained committed to music and continued her active creative work. Currently, the artist works at the Cultural and Business Center of the “Turkmengaz” State Concern.

Over the years, the singer has performed numerous works set to music by renowned Turkmen composers and poems by eminent poets. Many of her songs have become popular and beloved by the people.
