The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia held talks on human rights and scientific and educational issues

On June 10, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Georgia, Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov, held two meetings in Tbilisi with representatives of the Georgian leadership.

During negotiations with the Public Defender of Georgia, L. Ioseliani, the parties discussed issues of human rights protection, improving national human rights mechanisms, and increasing the effectiveness of their practical application. The meeting participants noted the positive dynamics of Turkmen-Georgian relations and expressed their readiness to intensify the exchange of experience between the relevant institutions of the two countries.

A separate meeting was held with Georgian Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs G. Mikanadze. The talks focused on bilateral cooperation in education, science, and youth policy. The parties focused on expanding the legal framework, developing academic mobility, student and faculty exchanges, implementing joint educational programs, and strengthening inter-university cooperation.

Following both meetings, the interlocutors confirmed their interest in continuing the dialogue and further deepening the partnership between the two states.
