Turkmenistan's Deputy Foreign Minister Mahri Bashimova met with Japanese Ambassador to Ashgabat Hiroshi Sasaki. The two sides discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, according to the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

During the talks, special attention was paid to cooperation within international structures. The diplomats emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts to strengthen peace and sustainable development.

Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to further developing constructive dialogue both at the bilateral level and within international organizations.
