The state-owned concern “Türkmennebit” fulfilled its oil production plan by 107,6% for the period January–May 2026. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers G. Agajanov during a government meeting, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
The country's oil refineries fulfilled their oil refining plan by 104,6%. Significantly higher production figures were recorded for certain products: gasoline production reached 110% of the plan, diesel fuel – 110,4%, liquefied gas – 111,4%, and lubricants – 124,1%.
The natural and associated gas production plan was fulfilled by 106,6%.
After hearing the report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of increasing hydrocarbon production and the widespread adoption of modern technologies in the fuel and energy sector. The head of state emphasized the need to ramp up production to full capacity and ensure uninterrupted operation. The Deputy Prime Minister was instructed to improve the efficiency of geological exploration and drilling operations.
