Meredov discussed expanding cooperation with the director of the Turkmenistan-USA Business Council

Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with Eric Stewart, Executive Director of the Turkmenistan-USA Business Council, who arrived in Ashgabat leading a delegation of American companies. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

The parties discussed the Council's activities as a platform for strengthening business contacts and expanding interaction between public and private entities of the two countries.

A roundtable discussion was held in Ashgabat with representatives from approximately ten US companies, including Climate Compass, John Deere, and Westport Trading. The Turkmen side was led by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Atagulyev.

At the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was emphasized that the Council's work contributes to strengthening interstate ties and developing mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation. The parties confirmed their interest in expanding partnerships in transport and logistics, energy, oil and gas, and agriculture. That same day, members of the delegation held bilateral meetings at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
