Ronaldo scored twice to help “Al Nasr” win the Saudi Arabian championship

“Al-Nassr” Football Club won the Saudi Arabian championship, defeating “Damac” 4-1 in the final 34th round of the season. The match took place in Riyadh.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice for the winners (62nd and 80th minutes), while Senegal's Sadio Mané (34th minute) and French midfielder Kingsley Coman (52nd minute) also scored. Morlai Sylla scored “Damac's” only goal from the penalty spot in the 57th minute.

At the end of the season, “Al Nasr” earned 86 points, ahead of “Al Hilal” (84 points) and “Al Ahly” (81 points).

The 41-year-old Ronaldo finished the championship as the team's top scorer, with 28 goals for the season. He surpassed his compatriot João Félix by eight goals. Ronaldo finished second overall in the scoring standings, behind only “Al Ahly” striker Ayvan Toni, who scored 32 goals.

For “Al-Nassr”, this title was Ronaldo's first since joining the club in January 2023. For the Portuguese, the championship was his second trophy with the team – he previously won the Arab Champions Cup with “Al-Nassr” in August 2023. Ronaldo's last title before moving to Saudi Arabia was the Coppa Italia, won with Juventus in May 2021.
