President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping accepted the invitation of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and expressed his readiness to visit the country at a time convenient for both sides.

"I attach great importance to the development of China-Turkmenistan relations as a comprehensive strategic partnership and wish to maintain close working contacts with you. I thank you for your invitation and look forward to visiting Turkmenistan at a mutually convenient time. The foreign ministries of the two countries can maintain close communication on this matter," the Chinese leader said in a message, as reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

Xi Jinping also noted that the Chinese side consistently supports deepening mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

"The China-Turkmenistan Cooperation Committee can carefully study the proposals and implement them under appropriate conditions. China is ready to work with Turkmenistan to create new, vibrant examples of cooperation and continuously enrich the content of the China-Turkmenistan Community of Shared Future," he added.
