The 84th meeting of the CIS Railway Transport Council opened today in the conference hall of the “Yyldyz” hotel in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. The meeting will run until May 14.

Heads of CIS railway administrations arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the meeting.

The forum will include discussions of current issues related to expanding cooperation in the development of railway transport in the CIS countries, bilateral and multilateral meetings, and a briefing with journalists.

The cultural program for guests includes excursions to the Ashgabat Equestrian Center, the State Museum of Turkmenistan, and the Magtymguly Fragi Cultural and Park Complex.
