Yesterday, within the framework of the III International Competition "International Relations: Culture of Peaceful Dialogue," Professor Wang Xihai of the Institute of Politics and International Relations at Lanzhou University held a thematic seminar at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The professor also heads the Research Center for Turkmenistan Studies at Lanzhou University. The scholar detailed the Center's activities, its role in strengthening bilateral academic ties, and the strategic goals of its establishment, according to the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The scientist's speech was also devoted to a comparative analysis of the philosophical concepts of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi and the classics of Chinese poetry.
Then, Pu San, Associate Professor at the Institute of Politics and International Relations at Lanzhou University, presented a paper entitled "From Chinese Taste to Chinese Civilization." His presentation allowed the audience to gain a fresh perspective on the rich cultural heritage of the Chinese people through the lens of their traditions and civilizational values.
The seminar served as a significant incentive for students to pursue an in-depth study of the Chinese language.
