Today in Tokyo, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Japan A. Bayramov and Vice-Rector of the International University for Humanities and Development N. Shyhlyev held talks with Nobuo Haruna, President of the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The parties discussed prospects for further strengthening bilateral cooperation in education, science, and culture, as well as issues of academic exchange of students and faculty.
Particular attention was paid to organizing educational language programs between universities in the two countries.
The parties also noted the importance of exploring the experience and capabilities of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in implementing joint projects and conducting scientific research.
