A ceremonial bike ride was held in Beijing, featuring diplomats from the Embassy of Turkmenistan in China and Turkmen and Chinese youth. The event was organized as part of the state policy to promote mass sports and physical education, and in honor of National Health Month in Turkmenistan, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The sports event, held under the motto "Friendship between Turkmenistan and China, Low-Carbon Health and Youthful Spirit," was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in China with the active support of the Chinese Cycling Association Flying Pigeon, the China-Turkmenistan Cultural Center, and China's oldest bicycle manufacturer, Flying Pigeon.

The bike ride started and finished at the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan. Participants, representing youth organizations from both countries, followed a specially designed route through the key streets of the Dongzhimen district.

As noted in the statement, the event was a clear demonstration of the high level of Turkmen-Chinese partnership in culture and sports. The bike ride is part of Turkmenistan's multifaceted efforts to promote sports diplomacy internationally and highlights the role of sport as a universal bridge between cultures.

The organizers expressed confidence that such initiatives will contribute to the further enrichment of bilateral relations and the formation of new traditions of cultural and sports exchange between Turkmenistan and China.
