Turkmenistan's gross domestic product reached 77,4 billion USD by the end of 2025, with economic growth reaching 6,3%. This was announced by Turkmenistan's Minister of Finance and Economy, Mammetguly Astanagulov, at the Turkmen-Chinese Forum in Ashgabat.
"The economic growth rate is consistently high, reaching 6,3% for 2025 and the first quarter of this year. GDP by the end of 2025 will reach 77,4 billion USD," the minister said.
According to him, investment in the economy has increased by 6% compared to 2024, reaching over 12,8 billion USD.
"Foreign investment accounted for over 10% of the total investment volume," Astanagulov noted.
The minister emphasized that the highest priority areas for investment are the oil and gas industry, petrochemicals, energy, construction, and the agro-industrial complex.
