The Ruhabad Textile Complex recently expanded its range with new fabrics in fashionable shades and floral prints. These fabrics are intended for outerwear, according to "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."
The company, founded in 2010, produces high-quality fabrics for sewing such as gabardine and satin, viscose, ripstop, poplin, as well as staple and cotton flannel.
Today, the complex combines spinning, weaving, and dyeing mills into a single production cycle. It produces blended yarns from domestic cotton with added polyester and lycra, and also fulfills special orders for yarn of various thicknesses, much of which is exported.
The company also produces finished products: traditional headscarves, tablecloths, and prayer rugs.
This year, a key industry event will be the International Turkmen Textile Expo, which will be held in Ashgabat in June, the source notes.
