Uzbekistan is preparing to celebrate the 35th anniversary of its independence. Festive events will begin in April and continue until September, kun.uz reports.

The anniversary celebration will be held under the motto "United Homeland, United People, We Will Build a New Life, a New Future!" As part of the celebratory program, the country plans to unveil the "Vatan Fidoyilari" monument, which will be installed in the new unity parks.

The significant date will also be marked by the release of a book-album dedicated to the reforms carried out in the country, and the minting of a commemorative gold coin.

Flash mobs and quizzes with the hashtags #Mustaqillik35 and #Uzb35 will be launched on social media during the celebrations.
