Turkmen wrestlers won 5 medals at Asian Junior and Cadet Championships

The Turkmenistan wrestling team won five medals at the Asian Championship among juniors (under 20) and cadets (under 15), which was held in Bishkek. This was reported by the press service of the United World Wrestling (UWW).

Turkmen athletes won one silver and four bronze medals. In the freestyle wrestling competition among juniors, Dovletgeldy Muradov won a silver medal in the weight category up to 86 kg. Bronze medals were received by Watan Annaorazov (up to 74 kg) and Alp Arslan Begenjov (up to 79 kg).

Among the cadets in freestyle wrestling, Meret Durdyev took third place in the weight category up to 44 kg. In Greco-Roman wrestling, Jeyhun Hakberdyev won the bronze medal in the category up to 52 kg.
