On Sunday, April 27, the grand opening of the 60th Presidential Cycling Tour of Türkiye (TUR 2025) took place in Antalya, reports aa.com.tr.
The opening ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials: Turkish Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak and President of the Turkish Cycling Federation Emin Müftüoğlu.
The importance of this sporting event is underlined by its inclusion in the official calendar of the European Tours of the International Cycling Union (UCI). The Presidential Cycling Tour of Türkiye is the only ProSeries competition in the country.
The anniversary cycling tour involves 160 professional athletes representing 23 teams from around the world. The first stage of the competition takes place along the Antalya-Antalya route, 132 kilometers long.
According to the program, the cycling tour will last eight days and will end on May 4 in Izmir, where the final results will be announced and the winners will be awarded.
