President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the draft of the State Program for Ensuring Flight Safety in the Country’s Civil Aviation. The corresponding decision was made during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, TDH reports.
The meeting was addressed by the Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers Mammethan Chakyev, who presented the prepared draft document to the head of state. According to him, the program was developed in accordance with international treaties, the Air Code of Turkmenistan and the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
The President of Turkmenistan stressed the importance of ensuring flight safety in national aviation, noting the need to develop relevant programs for a country that is a member of ICAO.
Following the report, Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the head of the Transport and Communications Agency to carry out work on implementing a new state program.
