The ceremony of presenting the credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Bahrain O. Charyev to the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa took place in the Royal Palace of Manama. The Turkmen diplomat will carry out his activities from his residence in Riyadh, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
During the ceremony, Ambassador O. Charyev conveyed warm greetings and best wishes on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
In turn, the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent reciprocal greetings to the leadership of Turkmenistan and expressed best wishes to the Turkmen people.
During the conversation, both sides confirmed their interest in further developing friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain in various areas of mutual interest.
